This tattoo book, will be one of many. It is an idea I’ve pondered for many years now. I truly like tattoos myself and always have. I have a great appreciation for them.
I have much respect for each tattoo artist in their profession. It’s a business that has many very skilled tattoo artists. It’s a technique to learn on its own. Tattooing on one’s skin is totally different than drawing onto paper or a canvas. I believe that is what makes it so unique.
That’s the part that’s so amazing to me as an artist myself. I truly believe, It takes a very skilled artist to be a tattoo artist. It’s a very skilled profession that has many aspects to learning the craft of tattooing.
This I have yet to accomplish yet. I truly would like to one day. I believe my skills as an artist are great enough to start my own tattoo business one day. That’s a goal I’d like to achieve one day. So with that thought in mind I’ve been marketing not only my Artwork, Paintings, Photography, Digital Artwork, Mixed Media, Merchandise, Clothing, Apparel, Lagniappe Accessories, decals, magnets, some of my Sketches, and the idea of compiling my many sketches into one Volume of Tattoos into this one “ Original ” Tattoo book volume 1.
As For now I’ve been accumulating as much of my own artwork to bring to my own tattoo business one day. If that opportunity one day becomes a business for me as well. So the next best thing for now is to market and sell some of my sketches in books as tattoo art and sketchbooks.
I’ve researched many talented tattoo artist artwork and their large portfolio of Tattooing and the process and talent that goes into each piece and the time to create the tattoo. It’s a skill of its own. I truly would like to see my own artwork one day on many peoples skin I think that would be the coolest thing ever.
Paintings, Artwork, Photography all begin with idea and the thought process to create the idea. The sketch and drawing process is documented with the first sketch on paper. Any sketch or painting I’ve done began with an initial sketch. The sketch and idea and its progression is documented in every step. Resulting in a Portfolio of Artwork to go along with the years of work behind the process.
Any acrylic or oil painting the process began with drawing it out. If there was a painting there was a sketch. My Larger paintings I almost always sketch out my larger idea. It requires a sketch out onto each canvas most of the time painted right over the original sketch. That’s why I documented each step in the process to save the sketch digitally from the large canvas.
The initial sketch is usually on a small sketchbook or iPad procreate digital sketchbook sketched. I’ve had art look so great I almost feared to paint over it on the canvas after the sketch and drawing was completed. I truthfully actually feared trying to paint over many large canvas sketches during the process of creating some painting. I believe the reason being is it that because of the fear it wouldn’t look as great as the large Sketched drawn onto the canvas. That’s why I began documenting the process and each and every step with digital photography.
Over the years Art has become my passion. I began perfecting sketching and drawing sketches and drawings at a young age. Paintings is very relaxing and enjoyable for me. The process of starting and finishing each piece of artwork I’ve worked on makes it the most satisfying is part of the process.
Making the idea and the creative process turn into a reality.
