Bio

      My Name is Kevin Edrick Munster. I was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana since 1980.  A Local kid that has a true passion for the arts, painting, Photography and especially sports since my younger days as a child. The reason I sign all of my paintings, Artwork, Photography with Edrick is because it’s a very original name. As a matter of Fact my middle name “Edrick”.  Edrick Art logo

      I use all Acrylic and oil paints on canvas.  I love to capture local sceneries and musicians, Celebrities with bright and opulent colors are always popping on my paintings. Over the years Art has become my passion. I began perfecting sketching and drawing sketches and drawings at a young age.  Drawing anything from comic book heroes to landscapes and houses.  Hurricane Katrina ruined every drawing and sketch.  Paintings is very relaxing and enjoyable for me.  There isn’t anything that I don’t like creating in my work from Metairie to New Orleans and in the State of Louisiana. 

      The process of starting and finishing each painting is part of the fun. Like Leonardo Di Vinci quoted. “Art is never finished, it’s only abandoned.” That is the truth.  I start on some paintings and don’t start working on the again for a while Maybe even years. I have a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of New Orleans. 04’ master's degree in Sports Management from The University of New Orleans also ‘06 master's degree plus +30 in Educational Administration
